Cheap Owner

My son came in with 14 friends for Homecoming. He had a $10 gift certificate which was good for a table of four. But, since he was only paying for him and his girlfriend, they would not accept it. Even though there were a total of fourteen kids at the table. I called and talked to the Manager and the owner, but they would not budge. To me, they should have just given him the $10 off. I know I will no longer be going to the restaurant nor suggesting it to anyone else. It is just the principal that a young kid saved his money to take out his date, and they wouldn't let him use the coupon. Sorry, it just rubs me the wrong way. I set up a lot of meeting/luncheons and Shogun will not be one of the places I send our clients.
