Home to more than 70 animal species drawn from habitats found around the world, Racine Zoo focuses on creature-friendly exhibition and preservation of these animals, especially the endangered species that the AZA accredited facility is helping to maintain. During the summer, a petting zoo opens up for children to directly interact with domesticated animals and Alligator Park fills with Florida alligators for visitors to observe. Situated within Lakeview Park, the zoo is right on the shore of Lake Michigan, overlooking the massive body of water and within walking distance of North Beach Park.
Open daily Memorial Day - Labor Day: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Labor Day - Memorial Day: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Adults $4; Seniors (62+) $3; Children (3-15) $2; Children 2 and under are free.
